By enrolling in ADT Academy or accessing our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services or website.
About ADT Academy
Important Notice: ADT Academy is a private home-based education program operating under Wyoming home school statutes. We are not an accredited institution, public school, or charter school. ADT Academy provides college-preparatory curriculum and educational support to families engaged in home-based education in Wyoming.
We operate in accordance with Wyoming state home education regulations and issue diplomas pursuant to Wyoming Statute § 21-9-102. Our curriculum meets Wyoming Department of Education Chapter 31 graduation requirements for home-based education programs. Parents/guardians maintain primary educational responsibility as required by Wyoming law for home-based instruction.
ADT Academy specializes in providing technology-focused educational resources and structured curriculum to support families choosing home-based education with an emphasis on STEM disciplines and college preparation.
Enrollment and Eligibility
Enrollment in ADT Academy is subject to the following conditions:
- Students must be eligible for high school education (typically grades 9-12)
- Parents/guardians must complete all required enrollment documentation
- Students and families must comply with Wyoming home-based education requirements
- Enrollment is subject to availability and acceptance by ADT Academy
- Accurate and truthful information must be provided during the enrollment process
Academic Requirements
Students enrolled at ADT Academy are expected to:
- Maintain regular participation in coursework and academic activities
- Complete assignments and assessments according to program requirements
- Meet Wyoming Department of Education Chapter 31 graduation requirements
- Adhere to academic integrity standards and honor code principles
- Communicate respectfully with instructors and staff
- Make satisfactory academic progress toward high school completion
Tuition and Fees
Enrollment may be subject to tuition, fees, or material costs as outlined in enrollment agreements. Payment terms, refund policies, and financial obligations will be communicated clearly during the enrollment process. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in suspension or termination of services.
Student Conduct and Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- Conduct themselves with integrity and respect in all academic interactions
- Refrain from plagiarism, cheating, or other forms of academic dishonesty
- Use technology resources appropriately and responsibly
- Comply with all program policies and procedures
- Report any concerns or issues to appropriate staff members
Violations of student conduct expectations may result in disciplinary action, including warning, academic penalty, suspension, or dismissal from the program.
Transcripts and Diplomas
ADT Academy will provide official transcripts and diplomas to students who successfully complete graduation requirements. Transcripts accurately reflect coursework, grades, and credits earned. Diplomas are issued in accordance with Wyoming Statute § 21-9-102 and Wyoming Department of Education Chapter 31 requirements.
Parental Rights and Responsibilities
As a home-based education program, parents/guardians maintain significant responsibilities for their child’s education, including:
- Providing appropriate learning environment and supervision
- Ensuring student participation in coursework and assessments
- Maintaining regular communication with ADT Academy staff
- Complying with Wyoming home-based education reporting requirements
- Supporting student academic progress and development
Technology Use and Access
Access to ADT Academy’s online resources, student portal, and technology platforms is provided for educational purposes only. Users agree to:
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and account information
- Use resources only for authorized educational activities
- Refrain from attempting to breach security or access unauthorized areas
- Report any security concerns or technical issues promptly
- Comply with acceptable use policies for all technology resources
Intellectual Property
All course materials, curriculum content, and educational resources provided by ADT Academy are protected by intellectual property rights. Students and families may use these materials for personal educational purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize them without explicit permission.
Limitation of Liability
ADT Academy provides educational services to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes, university admissions, or career success. We are not liable for:
- Student academic performance or achievement levels
- Technical issues, service interruptions, or data loss
- Third-party services or resources used in conjunction with our program
- Decisions made by universities, employers, or other institutions regarding our graduates
Withdrawal and Termination
Students or parents may withdraw from ADT Academy at any time by providing written notice. ADT Academy reserves the right to terminate enrollment for academic, behavioral, or financial reasons following appropriate notification and due process. Withdrawal and refund policies will be outlined in enrollment agreements.
Changes to Terms
ADT Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled families. Continued enrollment following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your relationship with ADT Academy shall be resolved in accordance with Wyoming law.
